Our Story: Where It All Began

What started as KN Communications, founded and operated by Bob Karlin, laid the foundation for a legacy built on service and reliability. Over the years, the business evolved through dedicated leadership and a continued commitment to growth:

  • 1985: 

    Rick and Linda Moses acquired the business and expanded it into a full-service retail, sales, and communications provider.

  • 2008: 

    Ownership transitioned to Rick and Jan Elliott, who continue to lead Prairie States Communications today.

  • Today: 

    PSC operates with a strong focus on growth, integrity, and customer-first service.
